Yes,I use it remotely from different location and workstations.
I also share my database with friends and radioclub on a server connected
to Internet in parallel with a logbook hosting/searching service (see
http://hamlogs.net - sorry in french for the moment, english pages will be
published soon).

FYI, I can offer free database hosting with daily backups on this server
for YFKlog user.
