Since 2008, I have been hosting a number of websites and services for radio amateurs; these are listed below. Access to all of these websites has always been free of charge, and there is no plan to change that, ever.
Yet, running websites costs money, and with a growing number of users, also the requirements for the server are also growing.
For many years, all my projects (except LCWO) were running on a single, rather small VPS, which I also used for many other, personal things. There was no clear distinction for the cost incurred by my Ham Radio projects and my personal needs.
In March 2026, the need to move LCWO away to a dedicated server arose, the site load was too much for the shared hosting provider. My existing VPS was too weak to handle the load, so I bit the bullet and invested into a new, beefy VPS, which I will now use exclusively for my Ham Radio projects. This more than tripled my running costs.

For many years I have categorically refused to accept any individual donations for my projects. With the monthly cost tripled now, I will accept small donations and maintain full transparency about it.
